• assist with strategic placement of video equipment on roadways
• video coverage at all entrances and exits in every member community
• RCMP has up to date list of all cameras throughout the crimewatch
• Crimewatch members assist the RCMP with Data collection
• Crimewatch assists with funding of Camera's (certain conditions apply)

APRCWA

(Alberta Provincial Rural Crime Watch Association) 

• All members of the HWY21 Corridor Crime watch are members of the APRCWA
  
• The HWY21 Crime watch sends members to attend the AGM meeting
• The HWY21 Crime watch receives updates and information from the APRCWA

Communications

• all members receive a personal email address @hwy21corridor.ca
• access to online crime prevention publications and video
• fan-outs via e-mail
• the ability to email photos of suspicious persons directly to the RCMP
• Integration with APRCWA

Meetings / Events

• Monthly Executive Board Meetings
• Information sessions held in all communities on a regular basis
• Fund raising/Membership drive events in all communities
• Sub-committee meetings held quarterly

Individual Members

• All members are provided with an ID card and a sign for their home
  
• Members are able to take an active role in their respective Community
• Members can assist in data collection leading to prosecution
• Members can assist victims of Crime

Municipalities and Business

• Businesses can integrate existing surveillance equipment in to the Crimewatch
• Municipalities can advertise themselves as a "Crimewatch" community
• Data collection support from the Crimewatch
• Needs assessment assistance from the RCMP and Crimewatch
